Despite being located in the bourgeois center of Petrogradskaya, which encourages adherence to the principles of luxury, the style of Bolshoybar in St. Petersburg is in the spirit of DavydovDesign’s beloved northern minimalism.
The exposed brickwork of the apartment building, preserved since the beginning of the last century, exposed wiring, eco-friendly speakers, and oak panels, combined with designer lamps made of raw metal, evoke memories of the most successful examples of loft design. The well-thought-out lighting system changes during the day and evening depending on the format of the establishment: in the mornings, Bolshoybar is a coffee shop, and in the evenings, it is a bar serving designer cocktails.
